As an alternative to face-2-face appointments, I offer Online Based Consultations.
It’s easy to setup, and is available through your phone, tablet or computer.
Although I am unable to use hands-on treatment during an Online Consult, I will be able to asses and evaluate your problem, answer any questions you may have as well as provide you with a personalised rehab programme to take control of your aches and pains or injury.
I will carry out your appointment via a private video call using a variety of online platforms to suit your needs. This includes WhatsApp, Zoom or FaceTime.
The Online Consultation will usually take around 45 minutes and is £30 (GBP). This must be paid prior to the appointment.
How Does It Work?
Step 1: Request An Online Consultation Request form
Complete an Online Consultation Request Form here.
Step 2: Book An Appointment
Once I have received your request form I will contact you to arrange an appropriate date and time for the both of us. The consult can take place via Zoom, FaceTime or WhatsApp video call.
Step 3: Pre-Consult Questionnaire
I will then send you a link to specific online questionnaires. These will need to be competed at least 24 hours before your appointment so as to ensure that I have all the information I need prior to our Consultation.
Step 4: Online Consultation
At the time of the appointment I will call you via your chosen online platform. (Or you will login as in the case of Zoom)
During the Consult we will discuss in detail:
- How and when the problem started
- What makes the issue worse or better
- How your issue affects your daily function and life
- Your work and leisure time
- Your past medical history
- Other factors that may have an influence on the issue such as sleep, diet and stress.
In addition, I may ask you to perform some specific movements, tests or exercises which I will observe which may further help me identify what is going on.
Once this has been carried out, we will then develop a plan together to help you move forward.
Step 5: Programme & Advice
You will receive a programme of exercises specifically for you and your issues. This may also include suggestions and advice for for daily life, training, health and work. This will be sent through after the Online Consult has ended via email.
Step 6: Book a Support Package
At the end of your Consult you can choose to have ongoing support if you feel this is necessary. This may include follow up consultations, email support or a progressive exercise program depending on your goals. (Subject to availability). This can be discussed via the initial appointment.
